I'd take it in a heartbeat. It would make a darling bedside table or end table...or maybe even a little desk for your daughter.

Unless it has a lot of loose, peeling paint, or the paint has "bubbled," you don't have to bother with sanding. Just wipe it down good with "liquid sandpaper", also known as "deglosser." Replace the know with something dark and pretty or a glass knob. Maybe you don't like the shabby chic look, though. I wish I could help you with the blue bottle. You might try a heat gun, it will heat up the paint and you can scrape it right off with a scraper or a stiff brush. You don't want to over heat it though because you can burn the wood. I love my heat gun....especially for the pieces that have layers and layers of paint.
♥ ToniThe Tattered Cottagehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06837503058728587078noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3684849690255607135.post-55743758035397270152010-05-16T21:34:19.361-04:002010-05-16T21:34:19.361-04:00the table is adorable.the table is adorable.lorihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10991188654177484836noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3684849690255607135.post-33891208637408099602010-05-16T20:52:44.913-04:002010-05-16T20:52:44.913-04:00i love the table!!!great finds!i love the table!!!great finds!roseylittlethingshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05145881583797485045noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3684849690255607135.post-9340393019048946612010-05-16T20:22:21.938-04:002010-05-16T20:22:21.938-04:00the table is great! no fun to sand, though, i'...the table is great! no fun to sand, though, i'm sure. too bad there isn't such a thing as SAND IN A CAN, you know, like a can of spray paint, but a can of sanding power! hey, what about a power washer? maybe that would be too powerful... just a thought.laylabluehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07477547596056815438noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3684849690255607135.post-87671408236227864322010-05-16T20:03:40.598-04:002010-05-16T20:03:40.598-04:00I like the table, too!
