VTech InnoTab 3S Review & Giveaway

If your little ones are anything like Morgan, they already love electronics. She is constantly trying to get her hands on our iPhones and Blake's & Layla's iPod Touch. Which is okay sometimes, but every once and awhile she likes to delete apps. Or rearrange them, which drives me nuts. So I was very excited (and so was she!) when we got the opportunity to try the new VTech InnoTab 3S Learning Tablet. She could hardly contain herself when we opened up the box.

Once it was charged up, she was ready to go. And we love it! She really liked having her own fun apps that she can play. It comes with 20 already installed. And having a kid-safe wifi connection makes it safe for her. She's quite the little shutterbug (I'm always finding Morgan selfies on my phone), so she really likes the fact that the InnoTab 3S has a camera with video and still capabilities. And I love that it comes with a rechargeable battery pack and ac adapter, so there aren't any pricey batteries to have to buy. Another neat feature that we haven't tried out just yet is the ability for her to communicate with us through her tablet to our smart phones!

Besides all of the great pre-loaded content, there is a feature called The Learning Lodge, where you can purchase additional age appropriate e-books, games, videos and music. There are currently 350 titles, and they plan to expand to over 600 by the end of the year. And they feature kids favorite characters, such as Team Umizoomi™, Dora the Explorer™, Thomas & Friends®, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles®, Jake & the Never Land Pirates™ and Sesame Street®. New titles for 2013 on the Learning Lodge include Monsters University®, Turbo®, Planes®, Doc McStuffins®, Sofia the First® and more.

And best of all, you can get all of this, for less than $100! It's recommended for ages 3-9.

Now who would like to get their Christmas list started early and win a VTech InnoTab 3S of their own? The awesome people at VTech have graciously offered one for me to give away.

Enter using Rafflecopter below. The giveaway will remain open until 10/21. Good luck!!

Soft Scrub Mold & Mildew Stain Remover Review & Giveaway

I don't know about you, but cleaning the bathroom has got to be one of the worst chores in the house. Am I right? Wiping the counters, that's ok. The mirror, not too bad (even if it seems like it needs to be cleaned daily). But scrubbing the bath & shower? Ugh. Hate it. So I'm always looking for something that will make that job easier. And that's where Soft Scrub Mold & Mildew Stain Remover Gel comes in handy.

My husband loves to clean with bleach, but the fumes are terrible, I can't stand them. But Scrub Mold & Mildew Stain Remover is thick gel that clings to surfaces, instead of spraying through the air. I sprayed it on my shower walls and along the edges of our tub. And when I scrubbed it off, the mildew was gone. As you know, we have an older home and there are some issues with the heavy cast iron tub settling over the years. It's caused a pretty big gap that had to be filled with caulk, and that caulk likes to stain. But the Soft Scrub took care of it. I will definitely be purchasing this again in the future.

Before I get to my giveaway, I also wanted to let you know that right now you can enter to win $1000 and a year's supply of Soft Scrub coupons or one of 250 coupons for a free Soft Scrub product. Just head over to this link & enter today!

Now, for my giveaway. Three lucky readers will win a coupon for a FREE Soft Scrub product!

To enter:
1. Tell me, which bathroom chore is the worst?  (Mandatory).
2. Visit Soft Scrub on Facebook, like them, and leave a comment that I sent you. (Optional).
3. Become a public follower of my blog, or let me know you already are. (Optional).

Please make sure you leave a separate comment for each entry and that I have a way to contact you (either through your profile or leave your email in your comment). Giveaway will remain open until 5/23/13. Good luck!

The Soft Scrub brand provided me with a sample of their NEW Soft Scrub Mold & Mildew Stain Remover in exchange for a product review. However, all of the opinions expressed here are my own.

Old Navy Best Tees

I know I've mentioned this before, but Old Navy happens to be one of my favorite places to purchase clothing for myself. There's hardly a time where if I go in, I cannot find something I like. Their tanks are my fave! So of course, I was very excited when I was selected for a Best Tee's sampling even through Crowdtap. I headed out with a friend and we each got to select two t-shirts. How fun are the bright colors shown above?

These were nice, too. Softer colors, but I really like the stripes. These are the Vintage Style.

More great choices. These were the Perfect Crew Tees.

It was a tough decision, but in the end, I went with the Perfect Henleys in bright pink & blue. And I couldn't resist throwing in a little extra, this fun neon polka dot tank! I'm very happy with the quality of these shirts. They fit well, the fabric is soft and comfy and the colors are awesome! I'm hoping to add a few more of those tanks to my collection this summer, too.

If you haven't joined Crowdtap yet, head over and check it out. It's a great way to earn a little extra money (you can redeem points for things like Amazon gift cards), plus there are these fabulous sampling events! I have been lucky enough to have been chosen for several of these so far.

Don't forget to head over and check out the fun styles and colors of Old Navy Best Tees. Which ones are your favorite?

I was provided with product to sample, however, thoughts & opinions expressed are 100% my own.

Deodorant is definitely something we all need, right? There's nothing worse than being near someone with bad body odor. Ugh. I know I would never want that to be me! Recently I had the chance to try out Dry Idea AdvancedDry antiperspirant & deodorant, in the Fresh scent.

Normally I prefer invisible solids, not roll on, but this one was great! It went on smoothly and dried quickly. The scent is very faint when applied, but it did keep me fresh and dry all day long.

There's also a clear gel version that is available in unscented, fresh and powder fresh. There's even an aerosol option if you prefer! And they all of offer up to 72 hours of protection.

L'Oréal Paris Magic Skin BB Cream Review

If you ever watch tv or read magazines, you've probably seen or heard a lot of talk about BB creams lately. I know I have. But I didn't really know anything about them. Then I got the chance to try out L'Oreal Paris Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream. And I really like it!

My skin is far from perfect, and this really helped to even out my complexion. It wasn't greasy and it went on smooth. It dispenses a white color, but when you apply it to your skin, it changes to a soft flesh color. I used it under my foundation, but if you don't have all the skin issues I do, you probably wouldn't need any foundation. I also like that it kept my skin nice & hydrated, thanks to ingredients like Panthenol, Vitamin E & Glycerin. It hasn't been cold in Florida, but the air has been dry so dry skin has been somewhat of an issue.

If you've been thinking about trying a BB cream, go for it! I was very happy with this product.

You can find L'Oreal Paris Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream at mass food & drug retailers nationwide and it comes in 4 shades.

I received a complimentary product from SheSpeaks/L'Oréal to facilitate this review, however thoughts & opinions expressed are 100% my own.

20 Mule Team Borax Review & Giveaway *CLOSED*

Have you ever used Borax? If you haven't, or aren't sure exactly what it is, I can help. So what is Borax? It's a 100% natural mineral from the earth. It's removed from the ground, washed, dried & boxed - nothing is added. And why do we need Borax? Well, if you have hard water, like we do, Borax can help soften it, making your detergent work better and get your clothes cleaner. All you need to do is add 1/2 cup of 20 Mule Team Borax to each load. It's as simple as that!

I've used Borax for several years now and I absolutely recommend it. Like I said, we have hard water (we have a well) and I really do see a difference in loads of laundry washed with Borax compared to those washed without it. It's my favorite laundry booster. And a box goes a long way!

Now, how would three lucky readers like to win a coupon for a FREE box of 20 Mule Team Borax?

To Enter:

1.  Tell me, have you ever used Borax? Have you used it for something other than laundry? (Mandatory).
2. Head on over to the Borax Facebook page, like them, and leave a comment saying I sent you. (Optional).
3. Become a public follower of my blog, or let me know that you already are. (Optional).

Please make sure that you leave a separate comment for each entry and that I have some way to contact you if you win. Either through your profile or leave  your email address along with your comment. Giveaway will remain open until Tuesday, February 19.

Good luck!

Torani Syrups Review

I am a HUGE coffee fan! I mean, who isn't? Actually, I know there are a lot that don't drink coffee. And Torani syrups are great for both! I recently got the chance to try out some Torani syrups. As you can see, I received Salted Caramel and Peppermint. They are delicious!

I have only used them in my coffee so far, but I know they would be great to add a little flavor to hot cocoa as well. And how about frostings? I really want to try adding the Salted Caramel flavor to some buttercream frosting. Unfortunately, no one else in the house likes peppermint, so I will have to save that one for myself. Of course, you could also add them to recipes for a boost of flavor. I haven't had the chance to try that out yet, but I know I will eventually.

If you haven't heard of Torani syrups yet, or haven't tried them. Here is a little info on their company.

Since 1925, 3rd generation family-owned Torani has been crafting great tasting flavored syrups that coffeehouses use to make their flavored drinks taste so delicious. With over 120 flavors in Regular and Sugar Free varieties, Torani flavored syrups are perfect for flavored lattes, mochas, coffees, cocoas, Italian sodas, teas, lemonades, cocktails and smoothies. Coffeehouse professionals choose Torani flavors because they are expertly crafted and made with the highest quality ingredients, like natural flavors and pure cane sugar. The Sugar Free flavors have no calories and are sweetened with Splenda. Now, Torani flavored syrups are widely available at retail so you can easily create authentic coffeehouse quality drinks at home.

Now that I've tempted your tastebuds, head over to the Torani website and let me know which flavor you'd most like to try! They have SO many! There is something for everyone, even sugar free. How would you use Torani syrups?

Arbor Mist Frozen Wine Cocktails

Summer might be over, but it's never too late to enjoy a fruity, frozen cocktail. So how lucky was I to get to try the new Arbor Mist Frozen Cocktails?

If you've never tried these types of drinks, you should! They are SO easy to prepare. Just freeze for at least 5 hours, gently massage the frozen pouch, then pour & enjoy!

The flavors I received were Strawberry White Zinfandel, White Pear Pinot Grigio and Blackberry Merlot. All three were delicious, but I think my favorite was the Strawberry White Zinfandel. They were sweet, but not too sweet, fruity and refreshing. I can definitely see these being used for summer gatherings, especially the 4th of July.

Have you had a chance to try these yet? If so, which is your favorite? If not, which do you think you'd like best?

Thank you to SheSpeaks & Arbor Mist for this opportunity. Don't forget to

Creativity For Kids Review & Giveaway *CLOSED*

I love doing craft projects with the kids, so I was excited to get to try out a kit from Creativity for Kids. They sent me 3 to try, but we started with this cute Gnome Garden.

Morgie couldn't wait to crack it open!

She was very eager to get everything out of the packages and opened up.

I helped them glue the leaves onto the roof of the little house.
The mushrooms (in the background) were really cute.

Blake decided he wasn't too cool for this craft and wanted to paint a rock.

Morgie tried her hand at a rock as well, and Layla took care of the mushrooms.

And here it is all complete! Now we just need to make sure we don't forget to water it and wait for the grass to grow.

Hopefully I can keep this little monster out of it!

Here are the other two kits we received. The Deluxe Glitter Art kit and the Feather Fashions kit. I'm saving these for a rainy day. I really enjoyed putting the Gnome kit together. It came with everything we needed and it was simple to do.

Now how would you like to win your own Deluxe Glitter Kit?

To enter:

1. Head on over to the Creativity for Kids site and tell me which item you'd most like to try (mandatory).
2. Become a public follower of my blog, or leave me a comment letting me know you already are (optional).

Please leave a separate comment for each entry! Giveaway will remain open until  8/11/12.

Get Soaked This Summer With Old Navy Swimwear

I've mentioned before how much I love Old Navy & Crowdtap, and they are back at it again! This time I was given the opportunity to sample Old Navy swimwear. The timing was perfect because we were getting ready to go swimming & stay at CoCo Key Water Resort. I can say I tried on almost every type of suit they had. Everything pictured above.

This was cute, but didn't work on me.

Tankinis are what I  usually go for. I love the navy polka dot one above! Didn't have my size though.

They had lots and lots of bikinis, as you cans see. Very cute stuff! But since having three kids, my body isn't really bikini ready.

Some more tankinis & bikinis. Now as much as I love Old Navy, this sampling trip was difficult. I already hate shopping for a bathing suit (who doesn't?), and what I found while trying suits on didn't help. As cute as everything was, none of them were really made for anyone remotely well-endowed. I don't think any of the suits had underwire, which is a must for me. Even the one pieces with the control max feature were not supportive enough, or have enough coverage where it was needed. I wish stores would realize women need more support!

But I had to choose something, so I went with this tankini and matching bottom. Cute, right?

If you'd like the chance to sample awesome goodies from Old Navy, sign up for Crowdtap here!
