Valentine's Day Mug Swap
I love doing swaps! So when I saw the Mug Swap being hosted by Sew Caroline & Rags to Stitches, I just had to join. And let's face it, you can never have too many cute mugs to drink coffee with, right?
I was paired up with Mandie from MoxieMandie. And she did not disappoint! Look at these cute goodies! I'm a sucker for gummy candy, and these happen to be my favorite bears. Shopping at Target is always a good thing, too.
And check out this adorable mug! I love the polka dots. My Target is seriously lacking in the cute mug department. But I love this one.
I can't leave out the mug rug - how adorable is this! I've been wanting one, but hadn't gotten around to trying to make one. And now I don't have to! Thank you so much Mandie!
Now when I'm sending a swap package, I always worry that the person receiving it won't like the stuff. I never want to send a disappointing package! So I really hope she liked everything. Not pictured is a Hershey's bar.
One can never have too many rolls of washi tape, so I sent this cute stack.
She's a sewer, so I found this cute pink fabric, and the green to compliment it. Do you see the little bird?
And while I guess since this was a Valentine's Day Mug Swap, I should have chosen a pink or red mug to send, I thought this sunny polka dot mug was adorable! I hope Mandie did too! Plus, it's a pretty good size, so it will hold plenty of coffee.
I want to thank Caroline & Alissa for hosting this fun swap! And Mandie for a great package! Thanks ladies!

Whimsy Jar Swap
It's been awhile since I participated in a swap, so when my friend Rachel from I Love My Three Sons mentioned wanting to do a Whimsy Jar swap, I was ready! We just needed a jar, and to stuff if with goodies in the colors aqua, pink and red. I love that color combo! I found the cute little jar above at Target.
My partner, Lindsay, liked scrapbooking/cardmaking, sewing and baking, so I tried to get a little bit of everything. Doilies, buttons, flowers, embroidery floss...
Ribbon, fabric, ink, glass glitter...
Trims, sprinkles, edible glitter, cupcake liners...
More glitter and some glittery letters.
I didn't really want to do much to the jar since it was such a cute shape. Plus that way she could use it wherever and it would fit right in.
And this is the super cute jar I got from her! Isn't it great?
Stuffed to the brim.
Look at all these goodies!

Halloween Banner Swap
While I missed out on the Sweet & Sinister Swap this year, Shara at Monkeybox hosted a banner swap! Everyone was assigned a different letter. I got the letter H. And this is what I came up with.

I used those cheap plastic spider rings. I cut the ring part off and then glittered them with some Martha Stewart glitter. I used orange...

Originally I thought I'd use a crackle finish. I have two different types of crackle mediums. One is supposed to be "one step" but it doesnt work that well. Which I forgot when I used it on these. So in my attempt to try & hurry it along, I stuck them in the microwave. And the result was this weird texture.

And now for the rest of the banner. Shara did the O.

And black ones.

I have been holding on to this textured paper since I started scrapbooking 10 years ago. I hardly ever use it, but for some reason I havent gotten rid of it yet, so I thought I'd try with this. For the letters I copied a stencil.
And now for the rest of the banner. Shara did the O.

Christmas in July Gift Exchange
I was in the mood for a swap, so when Linda at Craftaholics Anonymous posted about a Christmas in July Gift Exchange, I was in! Look at the totally cute purse that I was given! My gifter was Melissa at Seventeen. I love it, thank you Melissa!
My giftee was Caitlin at Adventures in [new] Mommyhood. She said she liked pink, and things to decorate the house with, so I whipped up a button monogram for her.
