I'm participating again this week in Today's Thrifty Treasures & for the first time, Metamorphosis Monday. Head on over to Rhoda's Southern Hospitality and Susan's Between Naps on the Porch for some great thrifty finds & transformations. I'm also joining Kimba's DIY Day at A Soft Place to Land.
I didnt really go thrifting or to any yardsales this week. I did stop and pick up just a couple things. I know I took a photo of that fork by itself, but for some reason, it's gone. Anyway, that's going in my Etsy shop.
And these knobs were either .25 or .50, I dont remember. There are 5 of them. You might be wondering why I would buy such bright knobs. Well, they are for a project for Blake's room, he chose the color.
And this is for Morgan & Layla's room. You can never have too much storage, right? I do like the purple color, but it's got a small ding in the bottom right corner, so it may get a paint job. I'm not sure yet.
I want to thank everyone who visited this past week! I've never had that many comments! Thank you! And I appreciate all the embroidery hoop love. I wanted to share them again today, because I got them finished!
I started with this....
And this...
Sorry if the pictures are kind of dark. I was hoping for the sun to be shining when I took these, but it's been overcast & rainy all weekend. I promise you that floral one on the bottom right doesnt seem to stand out so much in person.
I love the apples, but this blue floral is my favorite. It came from the Vintage Sheet Fat Quarter swap I did at Rosey Little Things. I wish I had more left! That damask pattern on the right is Waverly. I found it in the remnants section at Joann's for 75% off.
I also really like this aqua and white one on the right. The one on top is the same fabric I used to redo an old chair we found in the shed.
And this...
And now I have this...

Cute project, Wendy. Do you think you'd ever want to stain or paint the hoops to further go w/your decor? I noticed your curtain rods are white or possibly a distressed white? That would be a nice tie-in. Either way, it was a fun and clever idea to fill an empty spot on the wall. Such a tease for your next project... will you be working on it this week? Have fun if you are!
