That's right, we are expecting #3! This came totally as a surprise, but it's a good one :) My due date is March 30th and I will have an ultrasound on November 6th. I'm not really hoping one way or another as far as the sex, since I already got what I wanted (a boy, then a girl). I also don't have ANY name ideas! When choosing Blake's name, I wrote down a list of names I like and we decided together. Layla got her name because of Mike, he had always liked that name. How did you decide on your childrens' names?

For Maren's name, I firmly believe that Maren is the name she had before she came to this Earth. :) It was the one and only name DH added to "the list" and I have NO idea where he had ever heard it or why he liked it. I thought it was okay, but it was definitely NOT one of my first choices.
When I went to the hospital to have her, I took my list because we still hadn't decided. We brought her home a few days later and she still didn't have a name! We decided to pray separately about it and then see what we felt, and we both independently felt like her name was Maren. It floored me, because it was not at all one of my first choices. So I can only conclude that it is her name, and I had nothing to do with it! LOL

Congratulations! I had made up a girl's name, so DH picked out a boy's name. The girl's name started with a "C" so, he thought he would chose a "C" name. I wasn't too thrilled with his less than creative choice. But, now in this crazy world of weird spelled names, it turns out that his ordinary name is a creative name afterall! I never did get my little girl......;o(

We call such children in Belgium, who definitely are going to be the last one in the row and a special gift : a "candy-kid", cause you have with this child the last chance to savour every moment of the pregnancy, the birth , a little baby, the moments of babies and children that grow up so fast !...
My childrens name all have a meaning :
*son Freek : the one who fights for freedom, a peaceful and mighty ruler
* son Aran : "ruling" like an eagle
* daughter Gaia : the earth as a goddess
I found my daughters name in a dictionary on the Roman and Greek gods...

I wanted Jack to have a "presidential" name.
Silly huh? If we had another, it would be another presidential name though. (Of course, if Obama gets elected that sort of blows my presidential name thing to hell, eh? LOL)
